Australian batter David Warner is known for his quarks on the playing field and on social media platforms. The left-handed batter has barely managed to entertain his fans, be it on the cricket pitch or with his posts, mostly on Instagram. On Sunday, the New South Wales-born cricketer gave fans plenty to cheer for during Delhi Capitals (DC)’s game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
The left-hander performed a number of popular moves from the Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa. The dance steps have become popular since the film hit the silver screen on December 17, 2021. Warner shook a bit during KKR’s innings as he fielded near the border.

The fans at the venue loved every bit of his moves. Warner shared the moment by uploading a video to his official Instagram handle. He captioned the video, writing, “What do you think? So many fan requests #pushpa.”
In January-February, artists like Nazmul Islam Apu and Shakib Al Hasan performed the dance steps during the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) in 2022. Later, former Team India skipper Virat Kohli treated his supporters with the steps while playing his 100th test match against Sri Lanka. All-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Dwayne Bravo didn’t shy away from shaking their legs too.
As for Warner, he has shown his dancing skills quite a few times. In May 2020, he danced to the popular song Butta Bomma from another Allu Arjun movie. Warner’s wife Candice was also featured in the video. Warner’s video went viral and the original song became more popular. Warner’s daughters, Ivy, Indi and Isla, have also been involved in quite a few of his videos.
