Odean Smith said he likes the aggressive nature of Sharma’s percussion and would like to incorporate important aspects of his playing into his playing.
“I think that player would be Rohit Sharma. He’s one of those players with (amazing) hitting speed. He’s very aggressive by nature and I’d like to incorporate that (aspect of his percussion) into my game too.”
Rohit Sharma is the third highest scorer in IPL history, with 5662 runs from 215 games at an average of 31.11 and a strike rate of 130.46, and 40 half-centuries to his credit.
Moreover, Rohit Sharma is the most decorated IPL captain and has won the title five times. The “Hitman” struggled at the start of this season as Mumbai lost their last two matches against Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals.
“I like watching him. I haven’t really interacted with him yet, but hopefully I will soon,” said Odean Smith.
